“Fold and Flow” with Anna Billman is a hatha (meaning simply “physical”) yoga practice, combining gentle awakening stretches, connecting breath to movement, some deeper (yin style) holds, and a creative vinyasa (flowing) sequence, always finishing up with relaxation.
While we will do some strengthening and balance postures and heart rate will increase a little, there is about an equal amount of folding into stillness and just checking in with our bodies and minds as they are.
Students are encouraged to try what they can, and to follow their own body’s intelligence (we’ll discuss this a little more at the beginning of each practice). Breath and attention are the only requirements, and questions during class are welcome.

Drop in students always welcome. Payment accepted at the front desk on arrival or slots may be purchased in advance by calling the Barns of Rose Hill Box Office at 540-955-2004 (Noon to 3:00 – Tuesday through Saturday). If you call when our Box Office is closed, please leave a message and we’ll return your call within 24 business hours. All sales are final. Exceptions for special circumstances may be made no later than 24 hours prior to performance.
